We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team. As a valued SERVPRO® franchise employee, you will receive a competitive pay rate, with the opportunity to learn and grow.

Team Shaw is in need of an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to support its growth initiatives and mission while maintaining a strong focus on personal and professional development. The Accountant will perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting as well as support internal financial reporting and analysis. The Accountant will also work with external consultants to establish accounting policies and procedures and implement process improvements as needed.

Responsibilities:

The successful Accounting Manager combines excellent analytical skills to support the day-to-day accounting of operations, month-end close, and quarterly reporting as follows:

Perform analysis and record necessary journal entries in areas including but not limited to payroll, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
Review Bank reconciliations.
Review GL account reconciliations.
Oversee Accounting team.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
Update and develop process documentation of assigned tasks.
Proactively exhibit accountability for his/her areas of responsibility and pursue process improvement.
Support the quarterly and annual audit/ Tax processes.
Resolve accounting issues and conduct research on technical matters as necessary.
Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis for senior management.
Assist with other accounting functions as needed to support growth initiatives.

What's Essential:

Bilingual in English and Spanish in a plus
3-6 years of relevant accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s in accounting, and CPA a plus
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks)
Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Driven, efficient, and self-motivated.
High attention to detail
Strong organization and communication skills

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
